Top of the Rock engagement/couple photos are some of the most epic and one of my favorite to capture – with a sweeping 360° view of NYC’s skyline, it’s the perfect backdrop to capture your love and the magic this crazy city holds. Vanessa and Mason reached out letting me know that before getting married, they planned to visit the cities that meant the most to them, think of it as a world tour before getting hitched. Words after my own heart! As I am also an avid traveler and love making memories in new cities with my loved ones. We made the first reservations we could for a Sunday morning in October. Fall/Spring is perfect if you want to avoid the massive crowds that swarm the city in the warmer months, but you still get great weather without breaking as much of a sweat and needing to wait for tourists to get out of the frame to snag the shot. Meaning, we can truly optimize the session for a variety of shots without wasting time in between just waiting around.
